Hello, I'm Kristen and I was raised in Mobile, Alabama. After moving around the south for a bit, I landed in Atlanta where I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design with a BFA in animation and a minor in concept illustration. While in school, I started modeling part time for fashion design and fine art photography. While at first it was purely for fun, I realized I was truly interested in the work behind the camera–primarily art direction.

 

Post graduation, I was a freelance background illustrator for 2D animated shows. Unfortunately during the pandemic, animation work was inconsistent and I had to pivot to a different career. I moved to Birmingham, Alabama and worked in graphic design and branding. What seemed like a set back at the time brought forward a new passion and skill set!

 

These days, I'm happiest when I get to combine all of my skill sets together. Now I'm living in beautiful Los Angeles doing contract design work for Tributary Design Studio.
